RING  1  EQUITATION  Classes to start at 9-30 prompt.

  to be judged 75% riding. 25% manners/ conf;/ turnout

SNAFFLE BITS to be worn in all classes in this ring - NO SPURS

1              Beginners   riders 10 years and under

                -Lead Rein accepted and will be judged separately if 6 or more

2              First Ridden - with canter - riders 12 years and under

3              Novice - open age - no 1st as combination in 07

4              15 years and under

5              16 years and over

6              Green Pony / Horse to be 6 years and under on 1st Jan 08

7              Coloured - Spotted - Palomino.  Award to best Cob

8              Ridden Veteran - 15 years and over

9              Club Pony - Horse to jump 2 fences.

                CHAMPIONSHIP FOR ALL 1st - 2nd in above classes.

RING 2  RIDDEN SHOWING.  Classes to start at  10-0am.

any suitable bit may be used - Spurs may be worn by riders 16 years and over and must be blunt  

10           Over 148cm showing

11         148cm  and under  showing 

12           First Ridden- Rider 12 years and under - Pony to be 138cm and under

                Lead Rein accepted and will be judged separately if 6 or more

13           Hunter type pony 143 cm and under   L.Rein accepted judged as above 14          Hunter type over 143 cms ( Over 14-0hh)

15           Open Ridden Hunter - Award to best Show Hunter over 152cm - 15-0h 

16           Ridden Mountain and Moorland - small breeds

                Welsh A and B /Shetland / Exmoor/ Dartmoor

17           Ridden Mountain and Moorland - Large Breeds         

                Connemara / Highland / Fell / Dales / New Forest./ Welsh C and D

                CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR ALL  1st - 2nd in above classes.

RING 3  IN HAND   Classes to start at 11-0am

Handlers 14 years and under MUST wear a riding hat.

All handlers are responsible for the behaviour of their Animals

18           Mountain and Moorland -  award to best Shetland

19           Coloured - Spotted - Palomino.  award to best COB type

20           Bonny Pony  handler to be 18 years and under

21           Young Handler    - handler 13 years and under

22           Open Handler - any age

23           Open Breed - award to best Veteran 15 years +          

CHAMPIONSHIP FOR ALL 1st - 2nd in above classes

24           Beginners -low fences - open age group

25           Mini - riders 13 years and under

26           Novice - not to have won 1st or 2nd as combination in 07

Premier U.K. Showing Championships- Bold Heath 12-13 July 08

at  JUNE 1st  show only.

Summer Festival of Champions  1st - 3rd August at Great Yorkshire Showground       July 6th  show only.

Greater Manchester Show  10th August. Members with most points up to closing date may represent the Riding Club at this Show.

Winter Festival Of Champions - Valients - Members with the most points will be eligible to represent the Club at the Festival
