This is the first Newsletter for 09 and we would really like some feedback from our members please.
As most of you know by now both Club and Farm are amalgamated, hopefully to make administration easier and in this time of ‘credit crunch’ make only 1 joining fee instead of two.
Your joining fees go into the Air Ambulance fund as do any profit we make from shows etc:
Once again this season we have the indoor Winter league open shows held at Penningtons indoor arena, Bramhall,- members gaining points towards the Presentation evening in October, schedules can be downloaded from our web site www.newbarn.mucasa.com - kindly sponsored by Goyt Mill Pets and Saddlery, Marple.
Dressage is a new addition for 09. - Monthly - - January to May - indoors at Marple. again schedules are on the web site
Show Clinic... we are holding a Showing Clinic in the indoor school at Penningtons Dairyground Farm on Sunday March 29. open to all BUT you must register - you cant just turn up on the day, we will be covering Showing to include Lead Rein and First ridden- Equitation-In Hand - Dress and Ring craft, at the end of the day we will have a short show putting into practice the days lessons...Times 10-4pm ...if interested please fill in the form and send it off with your fee. to Mrs G.Wright 101.Moor End Road. Mellor. Stockport. SK6 5PT Come as you would dress for a show and your Horse turned out likewise.
Just to remind members that this year the rules on joining and points will be strictly upheld. .your points go from the date you joined, and are on the same Pony same rider basis, you may of course ride more than one Pony but points are on each individual pairing and can’t be carried over from one Pony to the next.
Blue Arm bands to be worn to confirm your eligibility as a member and possible gain you the highest placed Members award in the class.
Membership forms can be downloaded or fill in the BLUE cards from tack shops or committee members..
