Presentation Evening review

Hi every one
What a fantastic night we had at the Presentation evening,  it was really nice to see so many in fancy dress, especially the adults,  the pictures will be on the web site asap, copies can be obtained from me at £5.
I am still Trophies missing from last year - please check all yours to see if you have missed returning one and drop it off in my Porch as you pass, pictures on the web site of last years winners and trophies.....
The winner of the years supply of Gallop Magazine - our September competition - was N.Firth from Glossop, you will be receiving your copy of November/December Gallop soon
well done.
The next competition is for a  ' Flashing Safety Tabard ' to help you be seen at night, just pop 2 small batteries in the pouch and you will be lit up like a Christmas Tree, hopefully it will help you to be safer.    All you have to do is send your Name and Telephone number to me via the - contact New Barn - link at the side of the page.
HOYS was fantastic - probably the best yet - just a pity that on Wednesday there were so many people wanting to get into the Caldene Arena it had to be temporarily closed and a lot of people missed the particular classes they went to watch, extra seating put in was removed next day and things went back to normal but how nice it would be to see the Mountain and Moorlands in the main ring - they are so popular.
Our local riders put up excellent performances,  Rebecca Hansen taking a second,  Stephanie Mansfield a fifth, Wayne Thornecroft a second in the Coloured section, Charlotte Horn won the first ridden and Lauren Edwards just had a fence down after a super round, in fact we can be very proud of all our local Riders,  some pictures will be in Gallop.
